LegacyTexas Insurance Services traces its roots to the Larry Allen Insurance Agency in Plano. Mr. Allen founded his agency in 1987 on the principal of providing high quality, affordable insurance coverage to the residential homebuilder community. The agency later expanded into Personal and General Business Insurance and Accident and Health Insurance.

LegacyTexas purchased the agency in 2002 and renamed it LegacyTexas Insurance Services. Many of the same dedicated employees who worked with Larry Allen moved over to the new agency. The depth acquired through the acquisition of the Larry Allen Insurance Agency-and the infusion of new talent-has made LegacyTexas Insurance Services a recognized independent insurance agency serving the Dallas/Fort Worth, Austin/San Antonio and Houston areas.
